Today is International Biodiversity Day, an opportunity to reflect on what makes our planet so unique! At The Great British School Trip, we are committed to educating the next generation about the importance of protecting our natural world. We have a diverse range of trips which are perfect for immersing pupils in nature and inspiring a lifelong love for the environment! Trip opportunities for pupils to learn about Biodiversity:
From exploring ancient woodlands to discovering the coastal ecosystems, our range of trip venues offer students a hands-on experience which showcases the richness of biodiversity in the UK!- Plantasia Tropical Zoo: An indoor rainforest zoo with over 40 species of animal, and hundreds of tropical plants. They offer a range of interactive workshops, including animal handling!
- SES Water - Flow Zone: Pupils have the unique opportunity to visit a Water Treatment Works and go behind the scenes to find out how water is made safe to drink. Plus, find out how much water you are using in the hands-on 'Blue Zone'
- Birmingham Botanical Gardens: Contains over 7,000 plants from all around the world, grown in their spectacular, climate-themed glasshouses and 15 acres of flourishing grounds!
