Competition Terms and Conditions

The Great British School Trip Imagine My Future Competition

    • The competition is open to all school age children in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland who attend a school that has registered for ‘The Great British School Trip’ programme, except for relatives and associates of We Are Futures, Hyundai and Launch PR.
    • No purchase necessary.
    • Only one entry per pupil.
    • An entry is defined as a completed found on www.greatbritishschooltrip.com as part of the teacher resource packs. The Careers Discovery Competition Entry Form must be completed in full to be considered.
    • will be selected by a panel of judges based on students designing an innovative invention that will have a positive impact on people, the environment or the whole planet. The judge’s decision will be final.
    • To be eligible for this competition, the pupil must attend a school that has registered for the ‘The Great British School Trip’ programme and have the full permission of a teacher, parent or guardian.
    • Pupils must submit their entry by sending the completed Careers Discovery Competition Entry Form by post to We Are Futures, The Great British School Trip, 1 Paris Garden, London, SE1 8ND. Or by emailing the Careers Discovery Competition Entry Form to: teachers@greatbritishschooltrip.com
    • Entries must be received by Wednesday 18th June 2024.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to revise this date and extend the period for accepting entries for the competition in the event of circumstances arising beyond its reasonable control.
    • For an entry to be eligible it must meet the competition entry requirements.
    • Only the winners will be notified by email or telephone by 6.00pm on Monday 1st July 2024. Winners must accept their prize by 12.00pm on Friday 5th July 2024.
    • All entries submitted cannot be returned and are the property of Hyundai and We Are Futures. Copyright and all other intellectual property rights and interests will be and are hereby assigned to Hyundai and We Are Futures. The entry may be used for, amongst other things, post-event publicity (including reproduction of quotes), display in Hyundai retailer branches, or for internal purposes including newsletters and presentations by Hyundai, We Are Futures, and Launch PR.
    • The following prizes are available:
      • One winning class will win one in-school session run by In2action in partnership with Inspiring Learning Trust for a class on 35, lasting no more than the school’s standard timetabled day.
      • Four classes will win 1 of 4 x £450 vouchers to be used against a First Travel Solutions booking.
      • Two winners will win 2 career inspiring activity kits each for their class.
    • A representative adult at the winning pupil’s school will be responsible for liaising with In2Action to confirm exact dates and pupil numbers for the in-school session and on-site day trip. Dates are subject to availability and must be agreed by In2Action. In2Action’s decision is final.
    • No alternative prizes are available, and the prizes are non-transferable and non-negotiable.
    • The prize will be awarded on condition that the winning school agrees to take part in Hyundai, Launch PR and We Are Futures publicity requests as appropriate. If this condition is not met by the winning school and pupil(s), the prize will be awarded to another entrant that does agree to this condition. Personal details of the winning pupil/school details will not be passed to anyone other than the Promoter unless agreed otherwise.
    • The Promoter reserves the right in his/her reasonable discretion: a. to disqualify any competitor whose conduct is contrary to the spirit of the rules or the intention of the promotion and to declare as void any or all of their claims or entries based on such conduct. b. to declare as void any claims or entries resulting from any printing, production and/or distribution errors (including but not limited to any error(s) on this website, and/or other printed materials) or where there has been an error(s) in any aspect of the preparation for or conduct of the promotion materially affecting the result of the promotion or the number of claimants or the value of claims. c. to add to or to waive any rules and prizes on reasonable notice. d. and/or to cancel the promotion or any part of it at any stage in the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control.
    • Incorrect, incomplete, or illegal entries will not be accepted. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, undelivered, delayed, damaged, or mislaid entries.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and disqualify any entry which is not in accordance with the rules.

    • Employees and agents of Hyundai, We Are Futures, and Launch PR, connected with the production or distribution of a promotion or any of their associated companies are not eligible to take part in the applicable promotion, nor are their relatives or members of their families or households. Proof of eligibility must be provided on request.
