Attenborough Arboretum

At the University of Leicester Botanic Garden & Attenborough Arboretum, we focus on global biodiversity, offering a wide range of plants that grow in our extensive collections from around the world. The site features the only surviving example in the city of a medieval ridge-and-furrow field and contains two large ponds with a sturdy boardwalk for observation and pond-dipping.

Costs of experience

For all Botanic Garden/ Attenborough Arboretum Teacher led programmes

Primary: full day £5.20 per child with a minimum charge of £124.80, half day £4.20 per child with a minimum charge of £100.80

Secondary: full day £6.20 per student with a minimum charge of £148.80, half day £5.20 per student with a minimum charge of £124.80
