Bath Abbey has been the site of a beautiful place of worship for over 1000 years. The current building, constructed over 40 years during the Tudor period, is called the ‘Lantern of the West’ for its colourful stained glass windows. For schools, there are a wide range of creative and engaging tours and workshops on offer, linked to the curriculum. Visits to their exciting new Discovery Centre can also be included.
