Bendrigg is one of only a handful of specialist outdoor education centres in the country, enabling people with disabilities to achieve through adventure; developing their independence, and discovering their full potential. Situated just outside of Kendal, between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District National Parks, Bendrigg’s state-of-the-art centre is ideally positioned to enable people to participate in a wide range of challenging activities such as climbing, caving, and canoeing. They offer fully inclusive and accessible accommodation for up to 64 people, across two residential buildings. Bendrigg is a ‘place, a community and an adventure’ where people feel a sense of belonging and a ‘natural inclusivity’ which runs through everything Bendrigg does.

They offer 1-7 night residential stays with fully inclusive adventure activities such as caving, canoeing, climbing, cycling, archery, zip wire, abseiling and more! They have over 40 years’ experience of supporting people with disabilities to achieve through adventure. Their staff team are highly experienced and knowledgable and their specialist adaptive equipment means they can make the seemingly-impossible possible!
