Bishop Auckland Town Hall is a grade II* listed establishment, built in 1862, designed by Newcastle architect John Johnstone. The town hall is home to the Eden Theatre, a public library and a stunning art gallery. Films and plays are frequently screened at the Bishop Auckland Town Hall’s very own cinema, alongside frequent productions and performances at the venue’s own Eden Theatre.
