Bradford Industrial Museum allows students to experience and celebrate Britain’s rich industrial past and Bradford’s important role in this. Objects on display include Transport, Toys, Printing, Weaving and Motive Power. As well as experiencing running mill machinery, pupils can visit the Mill Managers’ house and back-to-back houses to experience what life was like during different time periods.
They offer curriculum-linked schools workshops:

– Let’s Explore Transport (KS1).
– Great Grandma’s Washday Memories (KS1).
– Victorian Classroom (KS2).
– Weaving In The Mill (KS2)
– Mill Life (KS3).
