Bring the curriculum to life at Buckfast Abbey, where pupils explore learning in a vibrant and meaningful setting. Our curriculum-linked workshops cover RE, History, Art, Geography, Sociology, and PSHE, helping pupils deepen their understanding through direct exploration and active engagement. Using enquiry-based activities and guided exploration of the Abbey and its surroundings, pupils are encouraged to develop religious literacy, historical insight, and critical thinking skills. They experience faith as it is lived today and take part in meaningful discussion that strengthens oracy, encourages reflection, and supports personal development.
