Calvert Devon offers accessible school residential trips designed to support learning outside the classroom while providing adventure activities for pupils of all abilities. The centre accommodates groups of 16+ people, with tailored programmes that align with the National Curriculum and educational goals.
Key features:
Activities: A structured programme of on-site adventure activities led by qualified instructors. Specially designed equipment ensure inclusivity for students with special educational needs or physical disabilities. Activities are within a 5-minute walk/roll from accommodations.
Accommodation and Dining: 104 beds across 19 bedrooms, 5 apartments and 5 bunkbed lodges, with en-suite facilities and adaptive equipment. Communal courtyard for easy access to dining and facilities (e.g. TV/games room, sensory room, drying room), freshly prepared meals cater to dietary needs.

They collaborate closely with you to ensure alignment with your objectives and desired learning outcomes.
Regardless of the curriculum you follow, they acknowledge that its aims likely parallel those of the National Curriculum of England. As such, they are committed to providing the resources necessary for your students to engage with this learning, fostering their spiritual, moral, cultural, mental, and physical development along the journey.

How does funding work?
Through the hard work of their fundraising team and the generous donations of their supporters and benefactors, they have the ability to award guests who require financial assistance funding towards a break at Calvert Exmoor. If you’re interested in a funding bursary, please let their Guest Services team know at point of booking and they can talk to you about this in more detail.
What do they offer?
They are able to offer:
10-30% off the total tariff for families and individuals
5-15% off the total tariff cost for groups and schools/organisations
