With walks, nature, and exploring rivers on the Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley offers students a chance to connect with nature and feel transported to a place of peace and beauty.

Guided and self-guided visits for rivers/nature-based work. Orienteering and geology sessions are also available.

Looking for a bursary to support your trip?

We know that funding a school trip isn’t always easy. If you are looking for help with costs, you can apply for the Great British School Trip bursary. This can help with the cost of travel or entry tickets to any Great British School Trip partner venue.

Simply fill in our bursary form and let us know how we might help.



£10 per student for guided visit, £2 per student for self-guided.

NT EGM guided price £8 and NT EGM self guided visits are free.
