Discover a host of interactive exhibits in our ground floor gallery and learn about the history of the local area in the Birth of an Industry and the Baker Galleries.
Catalyst continues to develop its exciting programme of award-winning activities in the education centre. Ranging from KS1 – KS3 we offer everything from hands-on workshops to dynamic shows presented by our own experts. Why not visit Catalyst and sleep over in our glass-walled Observatory Gallery? The package has been designed for groups of 20 or more and includes a hot supper in the cafe, exclusive use of the galleries, breakfast, a hands-on workshop and a science show.

Admission to Catalyst costs £6.00 per pupil with workshops an additional cost of either £65, £75 or £85 per session depending on the length.
