
The Zoo is over 60 acres and has a variety of landscapes including a nature area to explore and look for native UK species. The zoo is home to Giraffes, Elephants, Rhinos and other large animals, as well as some of nature’s smaller creatives like Aardvark, Frogs and Weaver bird! The zoo has seating spread around the site of stop and enjoy lunch, and schools can access some of playgrounds within certain times. There is an area to store lunch boxes and 3 dedicated education spaces for delivering any session you may book!
The zoo offers sessions to cover lots of curriculum areas, from maths and art to evolution and habitats, they’ll always have a session to meet your needs! There are also a wide range of free supporting materials available online too. You can also see, hear and smell 150 species up close and give students the chance to make life long connections to nature.
