De La Warr Pavilion are a pioneering centre for the arts. A place where everyone can experience contemporary exhibitions, events and entertainment in an iconic Modernist building. By the sea, on England’s south coast.

De La Warr Pavilion offers workshops for KS1-KS5 led by local artists in response to their current exhibitions giving students the chance to build their creativity and artistic techniques. The sessions encourage experimentation and introduce skills which can be taken back into the classroom.

Education Group Visits

Self-Directed Visit (FREE): Explore exhibitions supported by these resources.

Art Making Visit: £250 per 90 mins session, for up to 30 students. Based on the new exhibition by Haitian artist Manuel Mathieu, join local artists for painting, clay, 3-D and video art making workshops.

Students with special needs and disabilities (SEND): £150 per 50 mins session, for up to 12 students. Engagement and Art Making visits led by artist and specialist teacher Sinéid Codd.
