Derby Museum and Art Gallery

Silk Mill Lane, Derby, DE1 3AF. England

At the Derby Museum and Art Gallery, the works of Joseph Wright embody a spirit of discovery, stimulated by the 18th century Enlightenment. He painted scenes of science, experimentation and exploration and learning. Derby Museum and Art Gallery should elicit pleasure and joy from curiosity. It should encourage students to take notice of their surroundings, to marvel at the complexity of nature and to think differently about their world.

Prices vary, please ask upon booking.

Don’t forget, if you are looking for help with funding the cost of your trip, you can apply for a bursary!
