At its heart is the powerful story of Simba as he journeys from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. Visionary director Julie Taymor’s acclaimed reimagining of the beloved film will ignite your class’s imaginations and introduce them to the power of theatre.

We know that funding a school trip isn’t always easy. If you are looking for help with costs, you can apply for the Great British School Trip bursary. This can help with the cost of travel or entry tickets to any Great British School Trip partner venue.

Education rates for groups of 10 or more are available for selected Tuesday – Thursday evening performances and Wednesday matinee performances through until 14 March 2024.

Group Add-Ons: Workshops!

Disney’s official The Lion King workshops are the perfect accompaniment for your school’s visit to the show.

Led by specifically trained Disney teaching artists, workshops can be tailored to your group’s needs and give your students the rare opportunity to perform scenes, songs and dances from the award-winning musical.

Workshops cost £14 per person on top of the ticket price and last 90 minutes. In London, they take place in a venue near the Lyceum Theatre. They are suitable for those aged 7 and up.
