Join Dudley Canal and Caverns for a 45-minute journey taking in over 420 million years of Black Country history. Discover how the unique circumstances of geology, archaeology, engineering, sociology, and economics changed the world as you travel underground into their limestone mines and caverns on their skipper-guided trip. To complement your tunnel trip, they offer a range of educational workshops. These hands-on sessions last approximately 50 minutes, cover a range of curriculum topics, and are led by their education team.

Alongside their underground boat trip, your students will get hands-on with objects and interactive activities to explore topics that complement your boat trip. They cover a range of curriculum-linked topics, from science and social history to literacy and geography, aimed at various key stages.

Cost: £10.30 per child. Teachers are free.

Don’t forget, if you are looking for help with funding the cost of your trip, you can apply for a bursary!
