Erddig is a fantastic day out for any educational group with plenty of space to play, explore and discover. At Erddig they offer self-guided group visits so you’re in control of your own itinerary.

Looking for a bursary to support your trip?

We know that funding a school trip isn’t always easy. If you are looking for help with costs, you can apply for the Great British School Trip bursary. This can help with the cost of travel or entry tickets to any Great British School Trip partner venue.

Simply fill in our bursary form and let us know how we might help.


Access to the estate is free, but admission is required to access the house, gardens, restaurant and shop.

Groups with National Trust Educational Group Membership enjoy free entry.

Group rate entry prices for 2023:

Adult £14.25, Child £7.10.

Group must be a minimum of 15 people (including teachers or accompanying adults) to qualify for group rate entry prices.

Normal admission rates apply for groups fewer than 15 people.
