Essex Outdoors Harlow

Essex Outdoors Harlow provides high-quality outdoor education to the county’s young people and the wider community.
Harlow, as Essex Outdoors only non-residential urban centre, plays a vital role in providing the local residents, schools and youth groups with the opportunity to experience the benefits of participating in exciting, healthy, inclusive outdoor activities.
The centre’ s current maximum daily capacity stands at 120 visitors. As well as the group-based work, Harlow offers a number of avenues by which the public can access the centre and its activities: Social paddling clubs, SUP clubs and 1:1 sessions.
accommodate 70 members of the public in The Lock Climbing Wall. This is a public access climbing facility that boasts 1000m2 of climbing surfaces and up to 120 young people have access to the various weekly youth specific climbing clubs and sessions. Running alongside this are the numerous adult-based courses under the bands; Adult Try, Adult Learn and Adult Develop.
