Fulham Palace House and Garden

Bishop's Ave, London, . England

For 1,300 years, from AD 704 until 1973, Fulham Palace was home to the Bishop of London; one of the most powerful people in England. The Tudor and Georgian house sits within 13 acres of botanic gardens and Archaeology proves that the Palace site has been continually occupied for over 10,000 years. It has been home to neolithic tribes, Vikings, Saxons and Romans.

With Victorian costumes, Roman object handling, scientific discovery of materials and plants and much more — Fulham Palace offers your class a powerful learning experience in one of Britain’s most important historic sites. They offer a variety of hands-on sessions for Early Years, KS1 and KS2, all with links to the Early Years Framework and National Curriculum.
