Discovery Visits at Gainsborough Old Hall
Prepare for a Feast: The King is coming!
Students are invited to a banquet for Henry VIII! Through costume and role play, pupils will discover the people who lived and worked at Gainsborough Old Hall. Explore the kitchen an take part in hands-on activities to prepare a feast fit for the king. Students can take on the role of the guards to keep the king safe, as well as jesters and musicians to entertain him and experience Henry VIII’s court.
Availability: April to November, Monday, Wednesday and Friday during term time, January to March: Monday, Wednesday and Friday during term time. Sessions last 1.25 hours.
