Go Ape at Matfen Hall is the ideal location if you’re looking for an outdoor activity near Newcastle. You can choose from Treetop Challenge, a Goliath of a high ropes course with super-fast and super-high zip wires.
If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground, why not try Axe Throwing? It’s a perfect social activity which is both therapeutic and will get your competitive juices flowing as you take on the rest of your tribe.
It’s Go Ape’s first location to be built within the grounds of a country house hotel and is nestled within one of the UK’s most unspoilt areas of natural beauty. And is located just 15 miles west of Newcastle in the charming village of Matfen.
Don’t forget, if you are looking for help with funding the cost of your trip, you can apply for a bursary!
