Through 160 hand stitched panels displayed chronologically, visitors can explore Scotland’s history, heritage, innovations and culture, from the formation of the land that has became modern day Scotland. Made by the people of Scotland telling the history of Scotland, the tapestry introduces visitors to the people and the magnificent landscapes. Stitched by over 1000 men, women and children the Tapestry is one of the most ambitious community projects every undertaken in Scotland.
