Hull Museums & Gallery – Streetlife Museum
Streetlife Museum, Hull, HU11PS. England
All aboard! Join us on a journey through 200 years of transport history. Enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the past at Streetlife Museum. Take a stroll down a 1940s high street. Hop aboard a vintage tram. And step back in time to a world of bone-shaking bicycles and steam-powered cars! From world-changing inventions to historic local icons – our transport collection has something for everyone.
Our immersive experience days are designed to ignite imaginations and inspire young learners. Whether you’re wanting pupils to explore how transport and toys have changed over time; journey across the world with local hero, Amy Johnson, on her famous flight to Australia or explore the impact that the Second World War had on Hull and its people, our range of experiences create memories and help bring learning to life. Meet characters from the past and get hands on with original artefacts.
