The museum includes stories about work, life, the struggles and the humour of working at the Kent pits through traditional and interactive museum displays, as well as personal archives and collections written in the words of the communities and miners themselves. They offer a range of linked STEM, art, literacy and drama-based workshops to students of all ages and abilities with a skilled, mindful and flexible approach to SEND and ALD sessions.
