Subjects
Covering the history of Huddersfield from pre-history to present day. Students can explore key topics within the curriculum including Roman Britain, the Industrial Revolution, World War One, innovation and technology and the environment. Within the museum, students will develop skills in source analysis, inferences, reading and chronology. They offer whole or half day workshops and self-led visits.

The Victorian Childhood Session
The Victorian Childhood full day session will allow students to explore life as a Victorian child, experiencing school as a Victorian child, handling objects, playing games and completing crafts. This offers a true insight into how life for children has changed over time. Schools can also choose to undertake a self-led visit and we can provide tailored trails and activities.
