Leeds Castle
Broomfield, Maidstone, ME17 1PL. England
Leeds Castle was listed in the Doomsday Book as a Saxon Manor. Since then it has played the roles of Norman Strongholds; private property of six medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and Katherine of Aragon and a Georgian mansion and an elegant 20th century retreat for the influential and famous.
Leeds Castle provides educational sessions, workshops, talks, tours or written resources to suit your pupils’ educational requirements, whether early learners, from Key Stages 1 to 5 or adult learners. The themed workshops, self-guided visits and fun packed itineraries ensure your school group will learn that there is so much more to Leeds Castle than history on their educational trip. 13 different workshops cover a range of topics and subjects such as drama, history, science, the monarchy and much more!
