Leeds Heritage Theatres

Leeds Heritage Theatres is a registered charity united by a single cause; to bring people together, create the extraordinary and provide a positive environment in which to entertain and educate. With three historical venues, Leeds Grand Theatre, City Varieties Music Hall, and Hyde Park Picture House Cinema, they provide workshops and experiences for young people through drama and practical, immersive experiences to enrich young people to thrive in their futures. They celebrate their rich heritage with the modern-day stories that are being created on and off the stage.  They offer a wide range of educational workshops for schools find out more below.

We know that funding a school trip isn’t always easy. If you are looking for help with costs, you can apply for the Great British School Trip bursary. This can help with the cost of travel or entry tickets to any Great British School Trip partner venue.

  • Standard workshops last 2hrs
  • Cost £150 for up to 30 children
  • Delivered by experienced drama facilitators and education professionals
  • All workshops at the theatre include a tour of the venue
  • Some workshops can be adapted for delivery in school
  • Full risk assessments can be provided on request
