In addition to our performances, the Mercury Theatre works with hundreds of children and young people from across Essex every year. Their workshops and projects are designed to support teachers in delivering the National Curriculum as well as fostering creativity, confidence and problem-solving skills, as well as improving children’s empathy and resilience. Their workshops cover a wide range of subjects including Literacy, History, Science, Social Studies and, of course, Drama. They also work with schools to develop bespoke programmes to meet their students’ specific needs. All of their offers can be tailored for SEND pupils.
There is a 10% discount for on-site workshops attached to a performance if the school is attending with a GBST bursary. Scroll down for more information.
