Situated in the heart of Cardiff’s elegant civic centre, it houses Wales’s national art, geology and natural history collections. See five hundred years of magnificent paintings, drawings, sculpture, silver and ceramics from Wales and across the world. Take an amazing journey in The Evolution of Wales from the very beginnings of time to the present day. With a busy programme of exhibitions and events, they have something to amaze everyone.
There is a charge for curriculum focused sessions led by Museum staff.

10am–5pm. Galleries close at 4.45pm. Open for 6 days a week Tuesday to Sunday. Closed Mondays but open Bank Holiday Mondays and will open until 9pm on the first Thursday each month.
