A neo-Gothic palace dedicated to the faces of Scotland past and present, this gallery is a hidden gem right in the heart of Edinburgh. Discover the stories of heroes, villains and everyday people, through changing displays and exhibitions.

Workshops or self-led visits: workshops include an interactive tour of current displays and practical activities to help learners of all ages develop their creativity skills, while a self-guided visit lets you do your own thing at your own pace, or with the support of learning resources available online and in the gallery.

Cost: Free entry to all exhibitions including ticketed exhibitions if booked 2 weeks in advance. Workshops cost £120 for up to 33 pupils.
