One of the finest gardens in the world, RHS Garden Wisley is a place where visitors can find horticultural inspiration and access plants not seen anywhere else. With fantastic facilities including two new Learning Studios and a Learning Garden, alongside the bespoke Clore Learning Centre, Teaching Garden and accompanied access to the Glasshouse, Wisley is the perfect place to bring your students. All their activities are interactive with a focus on learning through exploration, working together and asking questions.
Their exciting workshops offer hands-on sessions for children at Foundation Stage, and in Primary and Secondary schools (KS1-5) including those with special educational needs (SEND).
School visits to RHS Gardens are free (pre-booked) and give children the opportunity to get involved in practical horticulture, art and science. Bringing the curriculum to life in an inspiring setting, visits are led by the schools themselves or with workshops run by experienced Education Officers, based at each site.
The RHS also offer a Travel Grant for eligible schools to support with the cost of travel for their trip
