With the chance to experience a wonderful range of wildlife that lies in the heart of our industrial landscape, Saltholme can provide an exciting school trip for your pupils.
There is a range of of habitats filled with plants and animals, which your group can explore through experience-led visits or more formal field work. Our well-equipped visitor centre has an education room, and within easy walking distance of this there is a specially-designed discovery zone complete with pond dipping platforms, minibeast areas and a light-filled, welcoming bird hide.
They have everything that you need for your class to have a fun, safe and educational visit.
