Science and Industry Museum

Liverpool Road, Manchester, M3 4FP. England

At the Science and Industry Museum, there’s plenty to see and do, to support and enrich learning, for schools, colleges, nurseries and other formal education groups.
The interactive shows are tailored to suit the needs of different age groups. Shows for younger learners, ‘Counting Chaos’ (EYFS) and ‘Inventors Wanted’ (KS1), give your class the chance to learn through playful investigation and storytelling.
All students can also experience a taste of what it was like to work in a Cotton Mill amongst the noise and dust, and the impact the industry had on people’s lives both, for better and worse, with our Historic Working Machinery demonstrations.

Don’t forget, if you are looking for help with funding the cost of your trip, you can apply for a bursary!
