The Science Oxford Centre, on the eastern side of Oxford, is the UK’s first integrated indoor-outdoor hands-on science centre for primary and early years children. It gives children the opportunity to experience the excitement of making their own discoveries through a range of STEM activities that engage and challenge them. Outdoor learning experiences link to indoor activities so children can fully benefit from all the centre has to offer. Each visit includes time discovering the delights of the Exploration Zone, and a choice from a range of workshops, shows, pond-dipping, and guided walks in the 15 acres of woodland. The centre is open to schools during the week in term time.
