Centenary Riverside is a hidden gem in industrial Rotherham, a wonderful nature reserve with ponds and meadows with an important impact in flood management. There are no facilities on site so visits are 2 hours.

Exploring Wetlands Workshop

Exploring Wetlands Workshop

In the 2 hour Exploring Wetlands workshop pupils will explore the nature reserve, dip for creatures in the pond and identify flying creatures on the meadow. They will also learn a bit about flood management as the site reduces flooding on the River Don.

These workshops are free.
