Set in the heart of Worcester, The Commandery is most famous for being the Royalist Headquarters during the deciding battle of the English Civil War – the Battle of Worcester 1651.

It offers a whole host of hands-on activities and workshops for all ages and abilities. Discover what life was like during Stuart times, find out what it would take to be ready for battle during the Civil War or take a walk up to Fort Royal to learn more about the Battle of Worcester and the birth of democracy.

When you visit them, the day will include two 1 hour learning sessions led by them and a self-led session around the building.
