The Lowry is a cross art form creative arts venue, with 3 theatres and an art gallery which houses the largest collection of LS Lowry works and a changing contemporary exhibition. The Lowry offers a wide range of curriculum focused workshops using the arts as a tool for deeper engagement. The Lowry has a visual art competition (The Copley Prize) and a creative writing competition (The Creative Writing Challenge) for Primary schools. The Lowry also offers a wide programme of targeted outreach work for both primary and secondary schools and has an in house Teachers Network that supports and informs their offer.
