The museum houses the wreck of King Henry VIII’s flagship the Mary Rose, which sank near Portsmouth in 1545, plus thousands of real Tudor artefacts. Schools can immerse themselves in the story of the ship with a range of experiences from pulling a longbow to handling real artefacts. The 4D Dive the Mary Rose show brings the modern story of the archaeological excavation to life.
