
The Observatory Science Centre at Herstmonceux is a unique, hands-on science learning destination set within the historic domes of the former Royal Greenwich Observatory. Surrounded by beautiful Sussex countryside, it offers an inspiring setting where students can explore science in a real-life context and experience the wonder of discovery.
School visits include time exploring our indoor hands-on science exhibit galleries and our outdoor Discovery Park. Groups may also add sessions including: telescope tours, interactive workshops, science shows, planetarium shows and team challenges. Every visit is designed to spark curiosity, support curriculum learning, and bring STEM to life through practical investigation and teamwork.
