The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery

The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery is home to diverse displays of art, local history, natural sciences and the world’s greatest collection of Staffordshire ceramics. The Ceramic Gallery includes a technical section illustrating the production techniques of pottery and also includes more unusual collections, such as the Keiller collection of 667 cow creamer jugs and the Marjorie Davies collection of nearly 300 frog mugs.
The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery provides a range of inspiring workshops for Foundation to Key Stage 4 classes. Their workshops have been carefully developed to inspire, involve and motivate. They offer hands-on, interactive workshops where your pupils can get up close to their amazing collections. Their collections include local history, natural science, fine art, craft, and ceramics. £6 per pupil for one workshop or £11 per pupil for two workshops.
