Investigate the history of a Victorian mansion house or explore nature and the outdoors through hands-on learning sessions and self-led visits.
Self-led groups can explore the Victorian mansion house and estate, including a working kitchen garden. Or, reconnect with nature in our beautiful gardens or woodland plantation.
School workshops are also on offer, where pupils will learn about what life was like for servants working in a Victorian household or investigate how their wealthy counterparts lived. From April – September you can also experience two outdoor workshops. Pupils can explore champion trees and discover how they grow or become ‘plant hunters’ in our Victorian kitchen garden.
