University of Leceister Botanic Gardens

Glebe Road, Leicester, LE2 2LD. England

At the University of Leicester Botanic Garden & Attenborough Arboretum, we focus on global biodiversity. You can see and learn about a wide range of plants that grow in our extensive collections from around the world. The site is five acres and features the only surviving example in the city of a medieval ridge-and-furrow field, and also contains two large ponds, complete with a well-constructed boardwalk to provide access for observation and pond-dipping.

Don’t forget, if you are looking for help with funding the cost of your trip, you can apply for a bursary!
