Career Experiences at Yorkshire Wildlife Park
Yorkshire Wildlife Park run a 45 minute workshop entitled ‘Zoo Careers – job roles and responsibilities’. They offer an ‘Employability Day’ for Secondary / College level which helps meet the GATSBY Benchmarks which is a 3 hour workshop, which can be booked as a stand alone session or include park admission.
They go into schools to attend careers fairs. They also run different Ranger Academy course’s for students from 11 years of age.
Careers covered: Various job roles at Yorkshire Wildlife Park across a large tourist attraction, with a particular focus on working in an animal related field.
