Hyundai launches National School Trips Week, 29 April – 5 May
29 April 2024
A recent survey revealed that 27% of students have yet to take part in a school trip, missing out on vital educational experiences outside their classrooms. Staff shortages (40%) and funding constraints (64%) are the most significant barriers for educators in booking school trips. In response, Hyundai is increasing its commitment to school trips and has added an extra 25,000 places to its Great British School Trip programme, supporting 90,000 pupils altogether.
During National School Trips Week over 40 educational partners, including English Heritage, PGL, Eureka! and the Royal Air Force Museum amongst other venues, are joining forces to support nearly 9,000 pupils across the week with essential educational experiences beyond the classroom.
